Latest Malware Injection for Android Mobiles

According to a shocking revelation from Symantec, as many as five million Android users have fallen victim to a malware attack. The company calls it the biggest Android malware outbreak so far.


Speaking to ComputerWorld, the company identified 13 applications from three developers, which are said to be the origin of the malware attack. Surprisingly, many of these infected apps are available in the official Android Market. Symantec said that these apps carry "malicious chunks of code called Android.Counterclank" and tend to steal information and runs ads without the will of the Android device user.


These apps are said to be distributed by iApps7, Ogre Games and redmicapps and are mostly games with titles such as Counter Strike Hit Force, Wild Man and Stripper Touch girl.
